A Late 21st Treat

Finally, after repeated postponement of the meeting time, numerous obstacles and queue cutting by other people, I finally met up with the old S1 of 6DSMB, Meiling for her to pay tribute to me. The most initial plan was to have a steamboat treat at Parody Centre (is this the proper spelling??). The final execution was carried out at Plaze Singapura. Dinner was Burger King's Whopper Jr. Student Meal, movie was "Curse of the Golden Flower" and beverage during the show was coffee latte from Starbucks.

Anyway, we were rushing through our food in BK due to the lack of time...Below's some posters and photos of the show we watched...wouldn't really say it's a fantastic show but it's passable except for the last scene. I don't really like the way this show ends...this show talks about all the symbolic stuff, what circle in a square, harmony and logic of life etc. Chow Yun Fatt again acts as the emperor (more of a prophet in this case). Guess Jay Chou's got his fat paycheck easily in this show, nothing much for him to do in fact, raise a sabre i.e. attack, raise it again i.e. halt, raise again i.e attack again...but I suppose many viewers of this show are his dedicated patrons though. Not much of a plot in fact, everything is rather predictable in a sense. It's expected the empress is going to rebel, expected Jay will assist, expected he won't win because the emperor is too scheming to even trust his sons...in short, wouldn't recommend this show except for the majestic display of troops, warfare and exquisite settings.

Took a picture of Meiling just before we left for home...but the picture got deleted...oh well, you guys have no luck to see her "retard" face...lol...i'll try to get a picture of her next time, so no worries. Till then...
